Who we are

Hemmed Ocean is Hello Momentum LLC, a Hawaii limited liability company at 1121 Nuuanu Ave, Ste 104, Honolulu, HI 96817. Questions about your information: [email protected].

What we collect, and why

• Your contact details. Your email address, to sign you in, send your orders and galleries, and answer you. Your brand name and website or Instagram, if you ask for a spot. Your name, when you confirm the notice for photos with AI-made people.
• Your product photos and product details. The photos you upload, your product's name, size, and label words, and your notes. We use them only to make and check your images.
• Payments. Payments are handled by Stripe. We never see or store your card number. Stripe tells us your name, email, billing address (we use the state to add Hawaii tax), and whether the payment went through.
• The free photo read. The shop address you give us and your email. We read your shop's public product pages and photos to write the read, keep the read for 7 days, and keep your email so we can follow up.
• Technical details. Your IP address and country, which our hosting provider passes to us. We use them to stop abuse (limits on how often a form can be sent), and we store them with a few records: a photo read request, a request for a spot, your confirmation of the AI-made people notice, and your confirmation that your product isn't one we don't shoot.
• Cookies. One cookie, only when you sign in, to keep you signed in for up to 30 days. No advertising or analytics cookies, and no tracking pixels.

Who we share it with

We don't sell your information. We share it only with the service providers that run the studio, and only for that purpose:

• Cloudflare: hosting, file storage, and our database.
• Stripe: payments.
• Resend: sending email.
• Anthropic (Claude): checks your photos when you upload them, reads shop photos for the photo read, writes photo descriptions, and checks our images. It deletes what we send within 30 days.
• Image models that make your images: Google Gemini (in the US, which keeps requests up to 55 days to watch for abuse) and Sourceful's Riverflow, reached through OpenRouter (in the UK and EU, kept about 30 days).
• Higgsfield: makes the AI-made people in some photos, from written descriptions only. We never send it your photos or your details.

We don't use your photos to train AI models, and under the terms we use these services on, none of them trains its models on your photos.

We may also share information if the law requires it.

Emails

We email you about your orders, galleries, and account. If you ask for a photo read, we may send you a few short emails about product photos. Every one of those says how to stop them: reply "stop" and we will. Each one also carries our mailing address, 1121 Nuuanu Ave, Ste 104, Honolulu, HI 96817.

How long we keep it

• Your product photos and unkept proofs: as the terms say (section 10). Deleted 90 days after an order is complete, or kept on file while you're a member.
• Your kept images: downloadable for as long as Hemmed Ocean runs.
• Your account and order records: while your account is open, and as long as 7 years after that, for tax and accounting.
• Photo read requests and requests for a spot: 24 months, or sooner if you ask.
• Your confirmations (the AI-made people notice, and that your product isn't one we don't shoot): 7 years after your last order. They're our record that you agreed.

Your choices

Wherever you live, you can ask us what we hold about you, ask us to correct it, or ask us to delete it, by emailing [email protected]. We'll answer within 30 days. Some records, like payments and the AI-made people confirmation, we may need to keep. We'll tell you if so and why.

Children

Hemmed Ocean is a service for businesses. It isn't meant for anyone under 18.

Changes

If we change this policy, we'll update the date at the top and, for big changes, email our customers.
